RAA believes children should be afforded the highest level of safety when travelling in motor vehicles and drivers have a responsibility to ensure seatbelts are maintained in good condition.
Seatbelts complying with the relevant Australian Standard should be worn by drivers and passengers at all times, properly adjusted and fastened, unless a person is exempt for medical reasons.
RAA’s Child Safety Centre provides child restraint advice and fittings to help members protect their most precious cargo.
