With just days to go until SA’s borders reopen, we’re doing all we can at RAA to help keep our employees, our members and our community safe from the spread of COVID-19.
RAA General Manager Community and Corporate Affairs Emily Perry said the State’s largest membership organisation had a critical role to play in helping to protect the community from the impact of Coronavirus.
“We’ve been a trusted, safety leader in SA for more than 100 years, and our response to helping our State reopen to the world safely is no different,” Ms Perry said.
“We have a workforce of around 1100 people at RAA. We work in shopping centres, schools, at the roadside and in people’s homes and cars, so it’s incredibly important that we do everything we can to limit the spread of the virus.
“We are working with everyone in our RAA team as we transition to a fully vaccinated workforce by 31 January 2022. We’re also engaging with our network of service providers to ensure they share our commitment to COVID-safe controls.”
So no matter where they’re working, RAA staff will be wearing masks, physically distancing, and staying at home if they’re unwell. We will be asking all members and customers to do the same.
“All South Australians have done a terrific job of looking out for one another throughout the pandemic, and we have no doubt we’ll all continue this tradition when our borders reopen to the world.”
